Tax Audits Directorate |

The Tax Audits Directorate is divided into two divisions, namely the Technical and the Tax Audits & Compliance divisions.
Its area of responsiblity encompasses the following functions:
- Issue rulings on technical and legal tax matters as required
- Develop special training on tax matters
- Audit the processed tax returns
- Initiate primary investigative action as required
- Effect research on tax matters and effect legislative amendments
- Representing the Commissioner before the Board of Special Commissioners and the Court of Appeal
