The Minister of Finance, the Economy and Investment has appointed Mr. Aldo Farrugia, Director (International Taxation) within the Inland Revenue Department of Malta as the Competent Authority in relation to –

• EU Council Directive 77/799/EEC concerning mutual assistance by the competent authorities of the Member States in the field of direct taxation, certain excise duties and taxation of insurance premiums;
